Shannon, age 18, American. I have a strange affinity for semicolons, coffee, cloth bound books, and gay men on television. Sometimes I write things. I mostly live off of half-formed dreams and good music.
Here you'll find: Klaine, Darren Criss, Chris Colfer, Starkid, Glee, Adam Levine, other attractive men, things that make me laugh & cities I'd rather be in.

People fear what they don’t understand, and are quick to condemn what they fear. You’re not wrong. You’re different. Use it.

Please don’t let your insecurities get the better of you. You are beautiful, remember that.

If nobody’s told you this already, they should have. You need to understand this, all of you. Don’t change anything about yourself for anyone else: If you want to be different, do it for you. Not for the wrong reasons. Work on things that matter, like loving your life. And for goodness sakes, love who you are. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned this year…it’s that life is too short to be unhappy.
